Meet Mirko Zara.

Founder, holiday-let operator and the person responsible for your property in Hampshire. Holiday letting isn’t always straightforward. Sooner or later, a cleaner will be unavailable, a guest will lose a key, something will break between bookings, or a reservation will come in that requires a judgement call. That’s one important reason why we think owners should know the faces behind their management company personally.

Mirko Zara founded Ovitzia in 2016 and still manages the business today. His experience in property and holiday homes predates Ovitzia, and he has deliberately built the company to stand out from international, faceless companies that use technology to automate the entire process.

While we use technology where it works well, we don’t manage our properties with software alone. We tend to them with experience, local knowledge, passion, and care. Mirko will be your senior contact throughout your journey with Ovitzia, and will get to know your home, how it operates and what owners want from it, rather than just disappearing once the contract has been signed.

How the process works

We start with the property, not the package.

  1. Tell us what you’ve got: Let’s get to understand the property, where it is, whether it’s already operating as a short-term rental and how involved you want to be.
  2. Work out what you need: Whether you need our team for revenue, guest management or the full shebang, we’ll recommend the right package level rather than push you towards full management.
  3. Get the property ready: prepare your listing, photography, pricing, booking channels and operational setup. If you’re already live, we’ll review what works before making changes.
  4. Start managing: Once live, we manage the services you’ve handed over to us, checking in and reporting progress monthly and through your custom dashboard.

Choose a management company that knows your area

Your Airbnb management company needs to understand your area to market your holiday let effectively.

A family booking near Paultons Park has different priorities from a couple looking for a cottage in Brockenhurst or Lyndhurst. In Winchester, guests come for Winchester Cathedral, the city’s historic centre, Jane Austen connections and access to the South Downs.

Can you manage everything for me?
